Kedar Udyog, a Delhi based company manufactures dimensionally stable, corrosion resistant, easy to handle, tough aluminium sheets with smooth edges. Thick, cold-rolled sheets are created when preheated sheet ingots are rolled back and forth until the desired thickness is achieved. The ingots become thinner and longer in the rolling process. The strength is increased by cold rolling process. Just like this aluminium sheet making process, aluminium plates and foils are produced. Such sheets are demanded in different industrial segments, from construction, packaging to transportation and aerospace. It is possible to easily recycle the aluminium sheets without losing its properties. Therefore, recycling is more energy efficient in comparison to production of primary aluminium.
